What’s Inside
General Installation
What you need:
The GBT-4-IW will power on with any PoE switch, but it will have power budget according to the type of PoE you have:
- IEEE 802.3af PoE – 12 watts
- IEEE 802.3at PoE – 25 watts
- IEEE 802.3bt PoE – 60 watts
To get the maximum power budget you do need an IEEE802.3bt (single signature, Type 4) switch orinjector. For example, you can use our GBTS-10-8-55v370w PoE switch.
It will function with a Cisco uPoE switch, however it will be limited to a power budget of 25 watts.
Put it together:
You can connect any non-PoE, PoE (12 watt), or PoE+ (25 watt) device up to the power budgets listed above based on your PoE switch.
CONFIGURATION
There’s nothing to configure. The GBT-4-IW will automatically network with your infrastructure to receive IP addresses and network protocols.
